NARAN (PR): Coca-Cola Pakistan in collaboration with WWF- Pakistan organized a clean-up drive to clean the most visited tourist site of Pakistan, Lake Saif-ul-Mulook.The activity comprised of people of all ages and walks of life. More than 80 people volunteered to partake in the clean-up drive of Lake Saif-ul-Malook. The clean-up drive is part of Coca-Cola & WWF’s ongoing project titled “Environment Conservation Project, Ayubia” which commenced in 2009, and since then the project has been scaled up every year. 

A diverse group of people consisting of students & teachers from the local communities, Coca-Cola and WWF employees cleaned up the areas surrounding Saif-ul-Malook.

Whilst speaking about the activity, Rizwan U. Khan, General Manager, Coca-Cola Pakistan added “We continuously work to balance the water we use in our finished beverages by participating in such replenishment initiatives that support local communities and nature. Coca-Cola also carried out this activity in October 2009, this year thetotal litter collected was 567kgs.The WWF & Coca-Cola partnership is transforming the way we think and act about the environment”.
