RAWALPINDI - Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled yet another bid of heroin smuggling at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on wee hours of Tuesday and recovered 7.5 kg heroin and nabbed the smuggler.
According to ANF spokesman, the force received information that some international drug trafficker would try to smuggle abroad huge quantity of heroin from BB airport. Taking notice, ANF enhanced vigilance at the airport. A passenger namely Abdul Qayyum son of Said Muhammad, a resident of district Gujranwala, was intercepted on suspicion. During course of search of his baggage, 7.5 kg of fine quality of heroin was recovered by ANF staff, the spokesman added.
