PESHAWAR- To assist research scholars of M.Phil, Ph.D. enrolled in various Universities of Pakistan, Area Study Centre (Central Asia), University of Peshawar will organise one-week workshop on the title of "Selection of research topic, research methods and writing M.Phil, Ph.D and research proposals ".
The Higher Education Commission has provided support for this workshop from June 19-24, 2013 at Bara Gali, Summer Campus of University of Peshawar.
Prof. Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, Executive Director, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad will formally conclude the workshop on 04:30 pm, 23 June, 2013.
In this Workshop, 55 students, enrolled in M Phil,/Ph. D, from  various departments of Peshawar University, International Islamic University, Islamabad, NUML, Islamabad and Sindh University Jamshoro have been registered to participate. The resource persons of the research workshop include researchers and professors of Peshawar, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. 
It has been observed that M.Phil and Ph.D scholars of Faculties of Arts, Humanities and Social Science enrolled in various research institutions of Pakistan find it difficult to select a research topic and writing research proposal/dissertations.
