RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Arts Council in collaboration with Sadqain Art Society organised a painting competition and workshop on modern techniques of collage here on Wednesday.
A large number of students attended the workshop. In painting competition, Muhammad Wahaj Ahmed bagged the first position while Bushra succeeded to get the second position.  In the second session, renowned artist Zarar Hyder Babari gave lecture on modern techniques of collage in painting.  At the end of the workshop Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed and Zarar Hyder Babari distributed certificates among the participants. Waqar said that such kinds of competitions and workshops produced confidence in students, which favoured in practical life.–Staff Reporter
