According to the post budget press conference of provincial minister, public spending on education in Sindh has been increasing annually but then the question is where does the money go, because the plight of education and educational institutions is not a secret? Had education continued to receive the lion’s share of Pakistan’s budget, our beloved homeland would not have become a breeding ground for intolerance, extremism, tyranny and injustice? Had our ruling elite, bureaucracy and technocracy used the allocated money to increase access to schooling and improve infrastructure in the country’s schools, my beloved country would not have suffered from crime, corruption and chaos as it suffers nowadays but who cares.
