LAHORE - Nazria Pakistan Trust is going to award Gold Medals to as many as 68 workers in recognition of their remarkable contribution in the creation of Pakistan at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Saturday (tomorrow) under the chair of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif. Those who would be given medals come from all provinces of Pakistan as well as East Bengal and Assam. The Board of Trustees of the Trust finalised the following names during a meeting held under the chair of Col (r) Jamshed Ahmad Tarin at the Aiwan-e-Karkunan. The meeting was also attended by Nazria Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami, JA Zaman, Dr Nazir Qaiser, Mian Farooq Altaf, Walid Iqbal advocate, Shahid Rashid and Rafaqat Riaz. The meeting after thorough consideration selected 68 names for the award of Gold Medal. The meeting through a resolution also thanked the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for showing caring feelings for the Pakistan Movement workers. The resolution also lauded Majid Nizami for this services for the workers. For the deceased workers of the movement the meeting also offered fateha.
