ISLAMABAD The Senate Standing Committee on Sports will meet on Friday (today) here at the Parliament House to discus the poor performance of the national hockey team in the World Cup 2010. Chairman of the committee Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi will preside over the meeting. The top officials of the Pakistan Hockey Federation Qasim Zia and secretary Mohammad Asif Bajwa will also attend the meeting. The committee will ask the PHF officials to quit their offices. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan claimed last position in the 12-nation hockey showpiece.
