NEPRA chairman Khalid Saeed finally quits

Chairman National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Khalid Saeed, on Monday tendered resignation from his post.
According sources, Saeed was illegally holding the office for a month after his four-year tenure expired on Feb 15, 2012.
NEPRA spokesman confirmed that Saeed's resignation had been dispatched to the Prime Minister, adding that the authority chief will continue serving unless the resignation is accepted.
The Chairman was holding the post illegally after 15th February when his contract ended because it was not extended by the competent authority.
