Rolling Stones won't perform at Olympics

CHARLIE WATTS has said that the Rolling Stones will most likely not perform at the Olympics Games.
The drummer said that he would prefer to play the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert in June but the band does not have time.
It was previously reported that the group were in talks to perform at both the opening and closing shows of the sporting event. Watts said: ''I don't think we'll do the Olympics opening ceremony. I didn't want to do it for a start. ''I'd love to have done the Queen's Diamond Jubilee because that's a great thing, I think, but I don't think we'd have the time to do it. ''It'll be a night of the Sirs, won't it, with Paul McCartney and Elton John.''
The Rolling Stones recently revealed that they have delayed their highly-anticipated 50th birthday tour until 2013. DS
