WAZIRABAD - Punjab Chief Secretary Naveed Akram Cheema has directed the Labour Department for establishment of a high school in Wazirabad to provide quality education for the children of labourers. This was disclosed by Director Labour Zaigham Abbas during the search of a building for this project. Labour Secretary M Yousuf issued order to materialise the plan. Mr Mazhar said that the school building would be established at a 5-acre land near Sheesh Mahal. Modern educational facilities including science and computer labs, library will be available, he added. He added that standard of the school will be high.

He added. "The proposed school will set a precedent in Gujranwala Division because of its curricular and extracurricular activities." He said that classes would commence from April 2014 in a rented building.
