Bahria Town, McDonald’s in strategic collaboration
RAWALPINDI (PR): Bahria Town and McDonald’s have announced a strategic collaboration by opening its very first outlet in Bahria Town Phase V11, near Green Valley Rawalpindi amidst much fanfare and excitement. The community filled with the aroma of scrumptious burgers and delicious apple pie as consumers queued up outside the beautifully constructed outlet in Bahria Town, waiting to grab a bite at the newly opened restaurant.
As consumers demand convenient ways to make purchases, Bahria Town has created ease for its residents by making McDonald’s part of it community in Rawalpindi. There is currently one McDonald’s restaurant in the city therefore this addition is a blessing for the Bahria Town residents as they don’t have to go outside their premises to enjoy their favorite meal. Chief guest Malik Riaz did the inauguration of the newly opened McDonalds. We at Bahria Town are proud to announce that McDonald’s has become part of our community and we are hoping to make the brand part of our family in other cities as well.

FFC Day held
LAHORE (PR): Honouring the contributions of the company towards community, Fauji Fertilizers celebrated FFC Day on Wednesday with a view to promote public awareness regarding the FFC culture which stands for transparency, corporate governance, best business practices and its obligations towards the community and Pakistan as a whole.
The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by Mr. Syed Iqtidar Saeed’s, Chief Technology Officer, speech in which he highlighted the key contributions and achievements of FFC over the years. After that, awards were handed out to the standout long serving dedicated members of FFC. CE & MD FFC, Lt Gen Naeem Khalid Lodhi, HI(M) (Retd), presented those awards.
In his short speech, Chief Guest Lt Gen Naeem Khalid Lodhi, congratulated the work force of FFC and stated that Fauji Fertilizer Company enjoys a rich history, and events like these are thus important not only for FFC as it allows the company to grow in stature but also for the general public, enlightening the community about the CSR activities of Fauji Fertilizer Company.
Other distinguished guests, which included the likes of Maj. General Abid Hussain (Retd), Lt Gen Amjad Shuaib (Retd), Lt Gen Munir Hafeez (Retd), and Lt Gen Malik Arif Hayat, were thrilled to be a part of this event. PTCL, Nespak  ink agreement
ISLAMABAD (PR): PTCL has inked an agreement with NESPAK for deployment of PTCL infrastructure and provisioning of services in NESPAK housing society.
The partnership shall enable residents of NESPAK housing society to experience the state-of-the-art telecommunications services of PTCL. PTCL is already providing services in Phase-I of the society.
The agreement was signed by Nausherwan Ajmal, PTCL Senior Business Manager, Faisal Town and Amjad A Khan, President NESPAK Housing Society in the presence of Naeem Shahbaz Ul Haq, EVP Central Zone PTCL and Nasir Mehmood Bajwa, PTCL Regional General Manager, Lahore Telecom Regional South along with other senior officials from PTCL and NESPAK.

JOVAGO launches first online hotel rental platform
KARACHI (PR): Rocket Internet AG, under its holding firm the Asia Pacific Internet Group, has announced the official launch of its hotel-booking platform, Jovago, in Pakistan. In a ceremony held in Karachi, Jovago launched its online hotel booking service portal for the domestic travellers of Pakistan, thus revealing a wide variety of options to choose from while travelling.
The event also marked the launch of first ever ‘Best Price Guarantee’ which provides best price guarantee for more than 1,600 hotels in the country - the largest inventory of its kind in Pakistan. Travellers can take advantage of Jovago’s Best Price Guarantee immediately from the time of booking to up to 72 hours after booking.
Jovago, operational in Pakistan since May 2014, aims to expand the tourism industry in Pakistan by catering to an existing gap whereby there is no single platform for consumers to browse and compare hotels across the country. The platform, accessible at www.jovago.com , already has an inventory of over 1500 hotels in  more than 150 cities, with several hundred more expected online very soon.
