The dead body of a missing child and another packed in a sack were found in the fields here on Wednesday.

Ten-year-old Faizan, son of Naeem of Habibpura, had gone mysteriously missing. According to his parents, the boy had gone out of the house to buy some daily use items from a nearby shop but did not return. His parents said they continued searching for him for  many hours but did not find any clue and then they approached the police station Baghbanpura about the matter. On Wednesday morning, some passers-by found the body in the fields and informed the police about it. It was suspected that someone made unnatural act with child and then hanged him to death.

The Safdarabad police have recovered an unidentified dead body packed in a jute bag lying in a field. Some passers-by informed the police about the body, the police shifted it for post mortem.

ROBBERIES: Two highwaymen on resistance shot at two brothers and injured one of them seriously in the Housing Colony police area on Wednesday.

Victims Imran and Munir after drawing cash from a bank were going to their home by a motorcycle. Meanwhile, unidentified robbers intercepted them and on putting resistance opened fire injuring both brothers. Later, Imran in serious condition was shifted to DHQ Hospital. Housing Colony police started investigation. #

In another such incident, a doctor was deprived of cash and other valuables by three unidentified robbers on Narang-Mnuridke. The victim Ali Imran was going to Norowal reaching near Tpyala Dost Muhammad the robbers stopped the doctor and on gunpoint took away cash and other valuables.
