LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif today said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will be a game changer for the region.

He was speaking at a ceremony held in connection with the opening of fifth Pakistan-China Business Forum in Lahore.

He expressed the confidence that the Chinese companies through joint ventures will make huge investments in the area of steel production. This will ultimately help Pakistan to indigenously meet its steel requirements.

The chief minister said the friendship between Pakistan and China is unparalleled in the history of the world and we are proud of it.

He said the orange train project is funded by Exim bank of China which has provided a soft loan spanning over twenty years.

About seven hundred delegates from China are participating in the forum where products pertaining to Automobiles, Textile, Information Technology, Energy and Food Industry have been put on display.
