rawalpindi - The dead body of a 9th class student, who was allegedly kidnapped from Sangloor village of Kahuta, was found from a seasonal nullah, sources told The Nation yesterday.

However, the parents of the boy accused their relatives of kidnapping the young boy and later murdering and throwing his dead body into the nullah, they said. Police registered a murder case and arrested one accused.

According to sources, a 15-year-old boy Faizan Kiyani son of Zaheer Kiyani, resident of Sangloor, left his house on March 12, 2016 for hair dressing but did not return. The family members lodged complaint with police station Kahuta, sources said. Later, the family was informed by police on 16/3/2016 to identify an unknown dead body of a boy at DHQ Hospital that had been found from a nullah. The family visited the hospital and identified the deceased as Faizan, sources said.

Zaheer Kiyani, father of the deceased, accused four people including Mirza Taj, his sons Yasir and Riffat Nawaz and daughter Rashida Perveen of kidnapping and murdering his son Faizan over old enmity and sought legal action against the killers.

Police, taking action, booked the accused in murder case and arrested Mirza Taj, sources mentioned.

Talking to The Nation, Zaheer alleged that his son was kidnapped and murdered by Mirza Taj and his family. He said the killers kidnapped his son and threw his dead body into nullah after killing him.

Station House Officer (SHO) Sardar Zulfiqar, when contacted, said that the dead body of the child was found from Nullah and police were waiting for issuance of medico-legal report to ascertain the cause of death. He added that it was suggested during preliminary investigation that some family dispute was the motive behind the kidnapping. “We have registered a murder case against four including Mirza Taj,” he said.
