ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz held separate meetings with his counterparts from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the SAARC Inter-Summit Ministerial Meeting held in Pokhara, Nepal. The Adviser handed over formal invitation letters from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, addressed to the Heads of State or Government of the SAARC Member States for the 19th SAARC summit to be held in Islamabad from November 9 to 10. During the meetings, issues of bilateral interest were also discussed with the counterparts of the said countries.
