Shahbaz approves 1373 new nurses posts for Lahore General Hospital

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given approval of 1373 new posts of charge nurses for Lahore General Hospital, in order to make up the deficiency of nurses in the hospital.

While addressing at a meeting of nurses today in Lahore Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Prof. Khalid Mahmood said that the Health is top priority for the present Punjab Government.

Prof. Khalid said that Punjab Government has always showed keen interest to the solution of LGH problems whether it is posts of charge nurses or mater of regularization of contract employees or provision of funds for the developmental projects underway at hospital.

He expressed his commitment to recruit charge nurses against news posts strictly on merit in a transparent manner as was done in the past to fulfill the expectations of the Chief Minister.
