The Commander of the National Guard of Bahrain, General Sheikh Mohamed Bin lsa Al-Khalifa called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, on Friday
As per the statements issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), issues on maintenance of regional peace, unity and harmony in mutual countries as well as with Afghanistan remained the pivot of the discussion.
Adding to the occasion, the COAS said that Pakistan values its strong diplomatic, economic, and defence relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Both the commanders emphasized the desire to further enhance bilateral cooperation including efforts for peace and security in the region.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s positive role for regional peace & stability.
Earlier today, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and the Commander Sri Lankan Army General Shavendra Silva also met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at general headquarters (GHQ).
