GUJRANWALA - Awami Muslim League head Sheikh Rashid said that the sitting government has failed to deliver as the masses have been left with no other option but to face serious crises including power loadshedding and price-hike.
Addressing a public meeting here on Sunday, Rashid said the PML-N-led government has failed to overcome the energy crisis, and it seemed that the rulers could not succeed in this regard even in next 11 years. He said the energy projects being inaugurated by the PM are fake ones and could not fulfil the energy demand.
Rashid said that a pre-planned campaign is being carried out against the ISI and armed forces. He said that Nawaz Sharif lacks willpower and is not a decision-taking prime minister. He said if the poll rigging is proved in any constituency, the sitting set up would have to be changed. He said the new set up could either be the mid-term elections or martial law. He said that he and Imran Khan would not attend the Parliament if poll rigging was proved in any constituency pointed out by the PTI chairman.
Sheikh Rashid said that dialogue process with the Taliban had come to an end due to the government’s negligence. He said that he would visit Gujranwala by train march on June 20.
