LAHORE - Parts of the country received scattered thundershowers on Sunday with experts predicting the prevailing weather conditions to persist during next couple of days.
Patches of clouds, rains and windy conditions maintained mercury to a low level, saving people from harsh weather conditions. 
Rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds occurred at scattered places of Khyber PK, north Balochistan, Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Lahore, maximum and minimum temperature was recorded 35C and 21C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 31 per cent.
According to the experts, a low lies over north Balochistan and adjoining areas. A western disturbance is still affecting western and upper parts of the country.
Local meteorological department has forecast rain thunderstorm associated with gusty winds at scattered places in Khyber PK, North Baluchistan (Quetta, Zhob and Kalat divisions), Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and at isolated places of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Multan, D G Khan, Bahawalpur, Makran, Sukkur and Larkana divisions during the next couple of days.
On Sunday, Multan received 34 mm rain, Parachinar 32 mm, Saidu Sharif 29 mm, Khanpur 27 mm, Barkhan 19 mm, Dir 14 mm, Kotli 13 mm, Bahawalpur and Malam Jabba 11 mm each, D G Khan 10 mm, Jhang and D I Khan 08 mm each.
