LAHORE: Shadbagh tragedy is the worst example of Punjab government’s bad governance and this is not the first incident of rulers failure to protect the life and property of the people of the province, says PTI Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhary.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after expressing party’s condolences with the aggrieved family at Shadbagh on Monday. Ijaz said that the provincial government neither upgraded the Rescue 1122 service nor it equipped the fire fighting wing of the Rescue with latest fire fighting equipment.

PTI leader remarked that provincial chief executive should stop using political gimmicks on tragic events and take concrete measures to protect the life and property of the people.–Staff Reporter
