MIAN CHANNU: Body of a five-year-old girl was recovered from a canal here on early Thursday morning.
Rescue sources said that after being spotted by the local people it took into custody body of girl from 15-L Canal in Mian Channu. The deceased had drowned in the canal a day earlier when she while playing slipped and fell into the canal, the rescue sources added.
The body was hand over to heirs of the deceased after medico-legal formalities.
