KARACHI - Pakistan Customs Drug Enforcement Cell (DEC), Karachi Airport Unit recovered and seized 12 pistols and 180 rounds from the possession of two passengers of flight for Katmandu, Nepal. Custom official said that the Customs DEC staff during the course of surveillance intercepted two Pakistani passengers namely Muhammad Ashraf Adil and Sohail Feroz at the International Departure lounge at Jinnah International Airport when they came to board PIA Flight PK-268 for Katmandu (Nepal). Both the passengers were carrying three large sized toothed mechanical gears each which the Customs staff had to cut opened after great difficulty. The exercise finally led to the recovery of 12 pistols and 180 live rounds which were smartly concealed inside hollow cavities of six mechanical gears.
