Economy of the country has shown better performance during the first four months of the current fiscal year and the trend is expected to continue during the rest of the year, Federal Minister for Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said on Saturday. The Minister expressed these views while inaugurating a seminar on Revival of Economic Growth in Pakistan, organized by the Ministry of Finance. The objective of the conference was to find out ways for removing constraints to growth and look for the means to raise savings and investments while ensuring inclusive growth. It was also aimed at finding ways for broadening and deepening the financial sector besides addressing the fiscal problems faced by the country. Dr. Hafeez Shaikh said that the government was committed to economic reforms agenda to ensure that economic stability remains intact.
