Our Staff reporter BAHAWALPUR - With Senior Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa in the chair, a meeting reviewed the arrangements for the Muharramul Harram here on Friday. The Punjab Minister Prisons Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar, Chief Secretary Nasir Mehmood Khosa, Inspector General of Police (IG) Javed Iqbal, Home Secretary Shahid Khan and others high rank officials also attended the meeting. On the occasion, Khosa said that all out efforts would be made to ensure law and order during Muharram. He said that it was the commitment of the Punjab government and fool proof security arrangements would be made during Muharram for public safety and to keep peace intact. He underlined the need to promote harmony, tolerance and brotherhood to avoid any controversy to foil the nefarious designs of the anti-religion, anti-State and anti-social elements as well as discourage sectarianism activities.
