LAHORE Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre Chief Executive Officer Dr Faisal Sultan has hoped that exchange of knowledge and experience would be beneficial for all the participants of cancer symposium. Speaking at the inaugural session of the 10th Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Symposium as chief guest here at a local hotel on Friday, he appreciated the organizing committee for all their efforts that they had put in to make the symposium a success. SKMCH&RC organized the symposium with the theme of Making the right choices. A large number of doctors, oncologists and researchers from the country and abroad participated in the symposium. The proceedings of the symposium will continue till Sunday (tomorrow) and the participants will deliver lectures on their respective fields and also provide a forum for lively discussion. Dr Faisal Sultan further said that participation of a large number of physicians, doctors and researchers, from all over the world, speaks of the creditability of this Hospital as an institution. The Hospital is not only treating poor patients free of cost but also raising awareness about cancer.
