Relation between India and Pakistan, from a business point of view, maybe a source of friendship and peace in both countries, but at the same time Pakistanis are also copying and promoting Indian media. Why are Pakistani TV channels promoting and showing Indian shows? If we want to ban their channels then why do we pay them in millions to buy their shows and air them? Shows such as ‘Big Boss,’ which I personally think is very vulgar, should not be aired in our country.
The new singing competition seems more like a battle between India and Pakistan, Atif was very polite and well behaved but after the disgusting behavior from the Indian team and some senior professional singers from Indian he had to come down to their level. I just watched few minutes of one show and I changed the channel. Pakistani media should stop buying Indian shows as we have excellent plays and movies of our own to display. Pakistani movies, talk shows and programs are better than Indian ones. Even Indian singers cannot compete with our legendry singers like Noor Jahan, Ahmad Rushdi, Amanat Ali, Masood Rana and many more and some new artists like Atif Aslam, Bilal Khan, Sajad Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Pakistani movies like Virsa, Khuda Ke Liye, and Ye Dil Apka Hua got more fame then Indian movies. In 2011, our blockbuster movie BOL got positive response, both in India and Pakistan, than any other movie in the subcontinent. Pakistani advertising agencies should also stop paying big bucks to faded actresses to appear in our commercials. There is no scarcity of beauty in Pakistan.
