Minister awaits Kuwait’s energy investment

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid has said that Kuwait would soon ease its visa policy for oversees Pakistanis and ensue big investment in Neelam Jhelum Hydro Power Project soon in a bid to steer Pakistan out of prolonged energy crisis.
Talking to newsmen at his native city Pasrur, the federal minister termed Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jabar Al-Mubarak Hamid Al-Sabah’s recent visit to Pakistan successful, saying that it would be helpful in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
He said that the visa relaxation by Kuwait for Pakistani people would be helpful in sending the Pakistani people to Kuwait for work as well, adding that both the countries had been enjoying the cordial relations and the PML-N government was striving the cement the relations with Kuwait.
He said that Kuwait had never left Pakistan alone and isolated in any hard time and Pakistan always recognised the solemnity and integrity of Kuwait at every international forum. He said that Pakistan had become a big country of exporting Halal meat to the world, as the Pakistan has now been included in the list of 42 countries exporting the Halal Foods globally, due to effective and positive economical policies of the PML-N government.
MPA Ch Munawar Ali Gill, Prof Shehzad Ahmed Butt, chairman of Planning and Development Committee Pasrur, Assistant Commissioner Touqeer Ilyas Cheema and PML-N leaders Khawaja Saeed Butt, Javaid Iqbal Ghuman and Ch Ilyas Ali Jathol were also present.
