ATTOCK
PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that after a meeting to be held on November 23 in Peshawar, Nato supply will be blocked as this is the only solution to drone attacks in Pakistan.
Talking to newsmen during his visit to village Shamsabad, some18km away from Attock, he said, “This historic gathering will give a clear message to America to stop drone attacks. Nato supply once blocked will never be allowed to reopen. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had promised to make efforts to stop drone attacks but did nothing and failed to materialise his promise.”
He added that the recent visit of the prime minister to United States was a complete failure as he did not utter a word against drone attacks in his meeting with Obama. This is the reason that even today drones are violating our borders and is a clear threat and violation to our sovereignty and integrity,” he said talking about the sad incident of Rawalpindi.
The PTI chief said that the incident was a pre-planned conspiracy and the enemies of Pakistan want to fan sectarianism here but they would not succeed in their nefarious designs. He said that there was no other solution but negotiation with Taliban to restore peace in the country and said that whosoever desires to have talks with Taliban is portrayed as their friend Talking about the local bodies system in KPK, he said that the system will be a unique one and an example for others. Earlier, he condoled the death of veteran politician and former minister Malik Muhammad Aslam and prayed to Almighty Allah for rest and eternal peace for the deceased and courage for former State Minister Malik Amin and his family to bear this loss with fortitude.
