LAHORE  - The SNGPL has issued new schedule for gas supply to Punjab industry and CNG sector for the period of November 19 to November 25.

According to fresh schedule for industry, the gas supply in zone II (Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Multan, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Islamabad & Rawalpindi) will be restored on November 19th (6 AM) and curtailed on November 21st (6 AM). Similarly, the gas supply in zone I (Lahore, Sahiwal and Sheikhupura) will be restored on November 23rd (6 AM) and cut on November 25th (6 AM).

The CNG filling stations in Faisalabad, Sargodha, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur regions will enjoy gas supply from November 19 (6 AM) to November 21 (6 AM) while the Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Multan Gujranawala and Gujrat regions’ filling stations will remain open from November 23 (6 AM) to November 25 (6 AM), according to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.

Online adds from Karachi: the CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed for three days in a week from today. According to SSGC schedule, the CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed November 18 (Monday), November 20 (Wednesday) and November 22 (Friday). Meanwhile, chairman All Pakistan CNG Association Shabir Salman has opposed the closure of CNG stations on every Monday.

He said that masses and transporters will face hardships due to non-availability of CNG on the first day of the week.
