LAHORE - Pakistan deaf cricket team routed touring Afghanistan team by seven wickets to make a clean sweep in the three-match T20 series here at the Ittefaq cricket ground on Tuesday.  Put into bat first, Afghanistan team was bowled out at 111 in 18 overs. Ajmal Muhammad scored 33 runs while M Faisal added 25. Nabeel Anjum clinched 3-16 and M Shakeel 2-7. Pakistan deaf side displayed good batting show and achieved the target for the loss of three wickets in 13 overs with major contribution coming from man-of-the-match M Qaisar (47) while Fida Hussain added 30 runs and Bilal Yousaf 26. Ajmal bagged two wickets and Abdullah claimed one wicket from Afghan side. Pakistan took 1-0 lead in the series by winnings the opening match by nine wickets at Peshawar followed by their massive 134-run win at Islamabad. Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association (PDCA) president Abdul Salam, secretary Irfan Miraj and manager Zaheeruddin Babar were the chief guests on the occasion and gave away the prizes.
