LONDON- Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri today said his party will not cooperate with the joint investigation team that is probing the Model Town incident. Talking to journalists, Qadri said that his party members would not become witness before the JIT.

Reiterating that Punjab government was responsible for the Model Town incident, he said, “We do not accept the Joint Investigation Team formed by the government and we will not take part in its meeting at any cost.”

Qadri said that his struggle was against the status quo in Pakistan. The Model Town tragedy had left 14 PAT workers dead and many more injured in Lahore.
