BAHAWALPUR-Brazilian Ambassador to Pakistan Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins visited Sadiq Public School Bahawalpur along with his wife.
Principal Sadiq Public School Mian Muhammad Ahmad briefed the visiting dignitary about the facilities being offered to students regarding curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at the school. Mr Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins praised the administration for running the school in a befitting manner. He highly appreciated the upkeep of the campus and expressed his liking for the flora and fauna of the school.
The Ambassador of Brazil expressed his desire to start a student teacher exchange program with similar schools of Brazil. He also praised the vision of founder of the school Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi for establishing an institute of such a great calibre for producing leaders in all walks of life.

Cop caught selling hashish

HAFIZABAD -A police nicked a constable of the Pindi Bhattian, selling hashish and seized 1kg contraband from his possessions.The police have registered a case against him.
According to police, constable Musharaf Hussain, resident of Mustafaabad Pindi Bhattian, has been involved in supplying the drug to prisoners since long.
On a tip-off, the police raided a place in Pindi Bhattian and arrested him with 1kg charas. There have been widespread reports that some black sheep in the police department are indulging in the sale of narcotics and patronage of drug peddlers.
