Islamabad - Capital Development Authority Hospital expansion has been approved while induction of new staff to fulfill the shortage is also underway, an official said on Saturday.
The statement issued said that Member Administration Yasir Peerzada held a meeting to review the performance of the CDA hospital.
The meeting was briefed that CDA hospital in October provided services to 78,569 patients and is performing at its best in providing welfare services to CDA employees. The treated number included both the CDA employees and outdoor patients.
The member administration was informed that 37,503 outdoor patients were provided treatment at CDA Hospital during October in addition to the 768 in door ward admissions.
Furthermore, 35,585 pathology laboratory examinations, 234 operation theater procedures, 2,084 general radiology and 320 imaging radiology, 674 provided physiotherapies, 1040 ECGs / ECHO / ETT, 228 Dialysis and 72 platelets rich plasma therapy patients were also treated during the month of October, 2017.
Moreover, 53 babies were born at the Capital Hospital during the month of October. Similarly 08 patients expired at the Capital Hospital during this duration.
Member Administration on this occasion said that induction of new staff for the hospital is under process and construction of new block for expansion of the facility has also been approved.
He also directed the hospital staff to work more compassionately and efficiently for welfare of CDA employees.
“Keeping employees of the Authority healthy more actions are underway to bolster its services,” he added.
In a separate development, CDA has issued different orders regarding posting, transfer and release of salary.
Details said one officer was posted and transferred and salary of one officer was released in this regard. The officers have been directed to submit their charge assumption, relinquishment and relevant reports to HRD and concerned Directorates accordingly.
Human Resource Development and other concerned Directorate of Capital Development Authority has issued subject orders after approval from Chairman, CDA and competent authority as well.
An Engineering Cadre, Assistant Director (Civil), BS-17, Ejaz ul Hassan on his selection as Project Director in Government College University, Faisalabad on contract basis for a period of one year has been posted and transferred with the directions to report for duty in Government College University, Faisalabad.
Vide another office order, salary of Mr. Tariq Ahmed, Assistant Director (Civil), BS-17 has been released from the date of stoppage. The officer was suspended from service and re-instated into service and intervening period treated as spent on duty.
