QUETTA - The Balochistan government has decided to dismiss two ministers, Agha Irfan Karim and his wife, from the provincial cabinet. Official sources say notification of their dismissal is likely to be issued on Monday (today). Agha Irfan Karim belongs to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) who had resigned from the cabinet as a protest against dismissal of another party minister Ali Madad Jatak. His wife, Rubina Irfan, had also tendered resignation to express her anger over Chief Minster Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisanis move to withdraw her portfolio. Rubina belongs to PML-Q and was the provincial minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, which has been allotted to her sister-in-law Begum Parveen Magsi. Meanwhile, unidentified assailants injured two persons including driver of container supplying goods to NATO forces in Afghanistan in Khuzdar district on Sunday. As per reports reaching here, a container loaded with NATO supplies was heading to Chaman boarder from Karachi. Unknown armed men opened indiscriminate firing on it when it reached at Baghbana area of Khuzdar. Attackers escaped from the site after committing crime. As a result, two persons identified as Gul Zaman and Abdul Shakoor sustained bullets injuries. They were rushed to hospital for treatment. Condition of Abdul Shakoor was stated to be serious.
