KARACHI - Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that Kerry-Lugar Bill is not in the interest of Pakistan and his party will not endorse it. He said that the PPP-led Govt was not coming true to the expectation of the masses and it was taking important decision in confused manner. He expressed these ideas while addressing a press conference at the residence of PML (N) Sindh President Ghous Ali Shah on Sunday. He said that there was a clear-cut difference between the decision of the President House and that of PM House. He was of view that political situation of the country was going towards midterm election but PML (N) would not ignite the state of affairs in this direction, as it was tantamount to multiply the political crisis. He said that PML (N) would pile pressure on PPP Govt for the issues related to the interest of the country but would not destabilise the Govt. He urged that accountability of ex-president Gen Pervez Musharraf under the article 6 was necessary otherwise democratic govt would always remain in danger. He further said that that it was not right time for holding the local bodies election as two provinces of the country are passing through the war-like situation. He said that PM Gilani would soon brief to PML-N president Nawaz Sharif about Balochistan package and take him into the confidence. He mentioned that PML (N) had no objection on the coming of MQM in Punjab province as his party believed that there should not be any no-go area in the country for any political party.
