LAHORE - Punjab Governor Malik Mohammad Rafique Rajwana Sunday told a visiting delegation from Multan that PML-N leadership had great love for the people of South Punjab and all their problems would be resolved on priority basis.

“It is quite evident from my appointment as governor. They have selected an ordinary worker like me from the southern region for the prestigious slot”, Rajwana told a 40-member PML-N delegation which called on him at the Governor House headed by Haji Saeed Ansari. He said party workers were the biggest asset of a political party and the PML-N leaders held them in high esteem. The governor also mentioned the various development projects initiated by the PML-N government in south Punjab and assured they would be completed within short span of time.

“It is because of sagacious policies of Mian Nawaz Sharif that country is making progress in all sectors”, he observed.

Party workers briefed the governor about the problems being faced by people in the south Punjab. Rajwana said that resolution of these issues was a test case for him since he belonged to the same region.
