A week long Ziarat festival is ongoing in Ziarat, Balochistan and brings entertainment and cheer for the local people. The festival will provide the people an outlet to enjoy themselves along with their families.
There are performances by school children, frontier corps personnel presented a musical show, levies presented a salute and sports events are to be held as well. These are all healthy pursuits and show that Balochistan is not lacking in spirit or camaraderie. I think the media should highlight this festival so all of Pakistan can enjoy the festivities. Balochistan is always in the media for the wrong reasons for once can we highlight something positive. Lets give the people of Balochistan a chance to celebrate and enjoy themselves. In fact more such festivals should be held on a regular basis as it is a healthy endeavour for the whole family.
