Karachi: Governor Sindh Dr Isratul Ibad has said that strict action would be taken against those involved in corruption and misuse of power.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said those involved in corruption will be brought to book. Talking about Baldia Factory fire that left 300 people dead, he said the culprits will be hanged.

He said the government has been taking action against elements behind China cutting in the city. The governor said law and order situation has improved in the province as a result of successful targeted operation and the provincial government is committed to eliminate criminals and terrorists to ensure peace.

He lauded performance of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) for ensuring peace in the city.
