At least 15 people have been injured in an explosion in Balochistan's Mastung district, which is around an hour's drive from the provincial capital, Quetta.

The explosion took place at Sultan Shaheed Chowk, reported Waqt News.

The largest province of the country by area, is home to a low-level insurgency by ethnic Baloch separatists. Al Qaeda-linked militants also operate in the region.

The province shares borders with Afghanistan and Iran.
