Two HuJI terrorists were killed in an encounter in south Delhi, police said on Friday. Fierce exchange of fire was on between the militants holed out in a house and Delhi Police in Jamia Nagar in south Delhi. Reports said an official belonging to Delhi Police special cell was injured but there was no official confirmation. The encounter comes a week after the serial blasts in Delhi set off by suspected militants belonging to Indian Mujahideen in which 24 people lost their lives on Saturday. Sources said the encounter began when police went to the area looking for one Atiq, said to be an associate of SIMI activist, Tauqeer, who is believed to be behind the Ahmedabad blasts and also wanted in connection with the Delhi terror strike.
