PESHAWAR - Central Ameer of Jamiat-i-Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said if his party parts ways with the incumbent Government at the Centre, the main beneficiaries of such an action will be non-political forces of the country. Talking to media persons here on Saturday, the JUI-F chief said that although they were disappointed as they had joined the central government to fulfil certain aims which were still unrealised, yet quitting the ranks of the central government would provide opportunities to the non-political forces. Informing about representation of the Chairman Kashmir Committee on the forum of United Nations for the first time wherein Kashmir issue would be highlighted, Fazl said that no conspiracies were being hatched against the Government nor he was aware of any such thing. He said that media should not consume their energies uselessly. There is unanimity between the Govt and the Opposition in the country regarding safety of democratic system and there is no need of any change, he said, adding if they felt that there was need of any such change, his party would support the same. The JUI-F chief further said that decisions of judiciary were sacred while the resolutions of the Parliament were mocked, adding that judiciary was taking suo moto action on general issues but was silent over military operations wherein general masses were losing lives. Regarding floods in the country, he said that it was a catastrophe and politics should not be played on this issue, adding that despite being on opposition benches in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government his party supported the Provincial Govt regarding flood relief activities. Whosoever helped flood affectees should be appreciated and there are also complaints regarding non-availability of aid to the flood-hit people and these should be resolved, he added.
