MUZAFFARGARH (Online) - Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has announced the provincial government would start giving Rs20,000 to every flood-affected family within two days. Addressing the flood-affected people after the inauguration of a model village here on Saturday, the Chief Minister said thousands of people have lost their homes in recent floods and Punjab government would provide Rs20,000 to the affected and homeless people for the reconstruction of their homes. He also announced that Punjab government would provide free of cost fertilizers and seeds to farmers having 25 acres of land in the flood-hit areas. He said the provincial government is taking every possible step and utilising all its resources for the rehabilitation of the affectees.
