Ours is a group of houses situated on Alipur Road in Muzaffargarh only 300 meters to the north of a locality known as Peer Jahania which was recently given sui-gas connections but we were left out. The reason is that our elected representative did not include us in his scheme of gas supply to this area. Our previous representative had also meted out the same step-motherly treatment to us although he himself had gas supply brought to his own remotely situated house. If our representatives continue to control development funds and keep on ignoring us like this then it is unlikely that we shall ever receive gas supply. We request the Government of Pakistan to order the SNGPL to give us gas connections at the earliest. HAJI AHMAD, Muzaffargarh, September 17.
