SIALKOT - Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Naib Ameer Prof Sirajul Haq on Sunday said that the country was passing through a critical juncture of its history as hydra-head problems both at internal and external fronts had posed great challenge to it. He said that unending crises had put the national integrity and solidarity at stake due to the flopped political, economical, national and foreign policies of the incumbent rulers. Addressing a meeting of party workers here, he urged the government to ensure early establishment of durable peace and the supremacy of law in Karachi, by bringing all responsible to task. The JI leader termed the target killings of the innocent people in Karachi as the part of the American agenda and the PPP, ANP and MQM were directly responsible for the nasty and brutal play being played with the lives of innocent and peaceful people in Karachi. Prof Sirajul Haq said that the PPP government, which had been standing on the feet of its allied political parties, had miserably failed to ensure peace and law and order in the country. He urged the people to elect a sincere, loyal, patriotic and honest leadership in the country to run the state affairs amicably, saying that the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan had started its nation-wide mass contact campaign before the elections and the JI would get the country and nation rid of all the external and external problems. Later, while addressing a press conference at Sialkot Press Club here, Sirajul Haq urged the nation to be united against the corruption of the incumbent rulers and to save the country from their clutches, besides, recovering the plundered national wealth from them. He alleged that the incumbent rulers of had allegedly changed the Pakistans stance on burning Kashmir dispute, following foreign pressure in a bid to please its foreign rulers. He said that uncontrolled drone attacks in North Waziristan and other tribal areas of Pakistan by the US unmanned spy planes, had exposed the foreign policy and the government tall claims. The JI leader said that the JI held demonstrations on September 11, across the country and lodged a strong protest against America for its atrocities against the Muslims after so-called 9/11 tragedy, besides, successfully observing a protest day as Dr Aafia Day on September 16. He said that the Jamaat also tried to shake the conscience of the rulers of Pakistan, forcing them to fight for the early release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui (a daughter of Islam) from American yoke.
