LAHORE (APP) The government should give incentives to the Large Scale Manufacturing sector that has the ability to initiate joint ventures with the counterparts in other countries for attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) former President Abdul Basit here Sunday said that attracting foreign investment and encouraging local investors through lucrative investment policies are the prime tasks of the government. He said the energy crisis that led to high input cost, and poor law and order situation are the main factors, for which the government in consultation with the business community must reset its priorities regarding economic revival.
