NOWSHERA - Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawar Hassan has said that the government should remove Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad from his seat lodging cases against him, if it really wants to halt violence in Karachi. He said the governor Sindh was the man who was behind violence in Karachi, the economic hub of the country, so the government should remove him from his post and make cases against him, if it wanted to restore peace and end violence in the city. He said this while speaking at 'Islamic Revolution Conference held under the auspices of JI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter here on Sunday. Former MNA Shabir Ahmad Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Prof Senator Mohammad Ibrahim Khan and Miraju Deen Khan also spoke on the occasion. The JI chief alleged that President Asif Ali Zardari, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and Awami National Party Chief Asfandyar Wali were responsible for cruelties committed on the people of Karachi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of the country. He claimed that after the defeat of secularism, the capitalism was also going to die itself. He warned that if the rulers did not mend their ways of ruling, then their peaceful movement could convert into a revolution. He said that incapable rulers started military operations in Fata, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan merely to earn dollars. Munawar Hassan said that for getting dollars the rulers were killing their own people. He said ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali should have resigned from the provincial and federal governments after being accused by MQM chief of getting dollars from the US. He observed that after such allegations, Asfandyar and his party did not have any right to rule the 'great and brave people.
