NANKANA SAHIB - The construction of main Railway Road would be completed in November and consultants have been hired from NESPAK to ensure quality in the construction work. This was stated by DCO Hassan Iqbal while talking to senior journalists of the district press club here. The DCO apprised that the construction Railway Road which was the main and busiest road was nearing completion. He said that the construction of the road was started following special instructions of the Punjab CM in April last. It is to be noted that Gurdwara Janam Asthan, the birth place of the founder of Sikh religion, is also located on the same road where thousands of Sikh yatrees from different countries of the world visit the place for their religious rituals annually. The DCO expressed his hope that the project being completed with Rs65 million, would help facilitate the general public. To a question about delay in completion of the project, he attributed the delay to long rainy season, saying that the project could not be completed in time due to abnormal rains.
