LAHORE - A total of 38 candidates are in run for 8 Corporate and 7 Associate Class seats while PIAF-Founders Alliance had already won unopposed one seat reserved for woman.
As many as 20 people filed their nomination papers for 8 seats of corporate class while 26 people filed nomination papers for 7 seats of associate class. 3 people withdrew their papers from corporate class and 5 people from associate class.
According to final list of candidates Khalid Usman, Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Bashir Ahmad Mughal, Iftikhar Ahmed, Sheikh Nasir Naseer, Lt. Col Syed M. Ayub Jafry, Muhammad Riaz-ul-Hassan, Ehsan Ullah, Saeed Iqbal Bhatti, Ijaz Ahmad Mumtaz, Babar Mahmood Chaudhry, Nasib Ahmad Saifi, Zafar Mahmood, Muhammad Saeed, Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry, Mian Muhammad Afzal and Maqsood Butt are in the run for 8 corporate class seats while
Raja Hassan Akhtar, Muhammad Yaseen, Rehmatullah, Mohammad Shahzad Zafar, Muhammad Zulfiqar Ali, Muhammad Azeem, Muhammad Imran Asghar, Kamran Butt, Abdul Wadood Alvi, Nadeem Asghar, Zafar Ahmed, Tahir Naeem Malik, Muhammad Nadeem Butt, Muhammad Imran Saleemi, Sohail Lashari, Khawaja Khawar Rashid, Talha Tayyab Butt, Raja Hamid Riaz, Rizwan Ali Khalid, Muhammad Haroon and Muhammad Akram will be contesting for  7 associate class seats.
Polling will continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Provisional results of the election will be announced on same day after the completion of polling process.
Election for the office-bearers will held on September 28.  The final results will be announced on September 30 in scheduled Annual General Meeting.
The elections for corporate class and associate class will be held on September 23 and 24 respectively.
