ISLAMABAD: A book 'Aina Haq-ul-Yaqeen' based on the works of Sufi poet Hakim Ali Jalandhari in Punjabi and Urdu translations by Aisha Siddiqa was launched Wednesday.
The launching ceremony was held at Pakistan National Museum of Ethnology, popularly known as Heritage Museum. Peer Syed Ameen-ul-Hasnat Shah, Minister of State for Religious Affairs was the chief guest.
'Aina Haq-ul-Yaqeen' is a latest publication of Lok Virsa based on the works of Sufi poet Hakim Ali Jalandhari. It is a bilingual book in Punjabi language featuring his original work with its poetic translation in Urdu reproduced on the opposite page done by Aisha Siddiqa.
Baba Hakim Ali is a Sufi poet belonging to the order or silsila of Qadri Qalandar. He was born in 1937 in Jalandhar, Indian Punjab. He is a man of high moral character. His poetry conveys the message of love, equality and brotherhood of mankind already been preached by Sufis like Baba Farid, Waris Shah, Bulleh Shah, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.–Staff Reporter
