LAHORE :  Pakistan International Airlines on the tenth day of its Haj operation operated four special Haj flights while carrying over 1,600 Hujjaj to the Holy Land, said spokesman of PIA on Wednesday.   On Wednesday, PIA’s PK-2119 carrying 487 Hujjaj left Karachi at 6.25AM, from Peshawar PK-2617 carrying 324 at 09.20AM, from Multan PK-2319 carrying 502 at 7.35PM and from Quetta PK-2719 took off at 10.00PM carrying 329 pilgrims to holy land.

The departure and arrival of all flights was on time, so far the total uplift of intending pilgrims stand at 19,000 by 46 Haj flights.  Six Haj flights from Karachi carried 2,413, nine flights from Lahore 4,457; nine flights from Islamabad 4,311; eleven flights from Peshawar 3,851; six flights from Quetta 1,972 and four flights from Multan carried 2,010 Hujjaj to Saudi Arabia. On Thursday, 19th September, a total of five special flights are scheduled to operate; two from Peshawar and one each from Karachi, Multan and Quetta. PIA spokesperson concluded.
